Welcome to Kigala Preschool (formerly known as "Kindergarten LA"), a multi-language preschool for children ages 2 to 6. Set in beautiful Santa Monica, CA, at the YWCA Santa Monica/Westside complex, on a hilltop overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Kigala Preschool currently offers a program where your children can play and learn, in a language immersive environment.

Did you know that the perfect time to introduce your child to a foreign language is actually just when she's learning her first one? A young child's brain is wired to pick up language naturally. Plus, being bilingual builds brain-power! Parents are realizing how important it is to raise kids as global citizens. In our world "gone global", sending your son or daughter to an international preschool is a very smart choice.
Our program is the only preschool in the Santa Monica area offering:
Spanish program - Your child will learn Spanish as a second language (No prior language knowledge is needed.)
German program - Your child will learn German as a second language
- Learning group - This group will learn German as a second language (No prior language knowledge is needed.)
- Immersion group - Members of this group will be fully immersed in the German Language and culture! (There will be a balance of children who speak and understand the language and some who are at the beginning stage.)
English program - Your child will have the opportunity to join our exciting afternoon enrichment program with many fun activities.
