Kindergarten LA offers the following Language Immersion programs:

Full Day program for 3 - 5 year olds
Spiel und Spass (Play and Fun)  
Hours: 08:30 - 02:30
Monday Through Friday


Morning program for 3 - 4 year olds
Spiel und Spass (Play and Fun)  
Hours: 08:30 - 11:30

Monday Through Friday


Extended program

Will be available in January. Hours to be determined.

 

 
 
Activities: Circle time, art projects, songs, cultural stories, play time (role play) and free form outside play.
There will be a good balance between structured projects and free play. 
Music Program: Introduction of a variety of instruments and Rhythms.
Dance/Movement Program: Variety of dance and movement forms.
Singing/Choir: Cultural Songs
Fokusgruppe (Focus Group): Readiness Program for Kindergarten in a playful environment.
Spielplatz (Play Ground): Free Play.
Special Projects: Planting, Science Projects, Water games etc.

Teacher-child ratio: 1:8

Application fee:
There is a one time application processing fee of $75 for the winter session per child. This fee does not guarantee enrollment for your child.

Enrollment/Registration administrative fee:
There is a one time enrollment administrative fee of $200 per child (to be changed in 2009).


Deposit:
For the winter session: A 50% per session non-refundable deposit is required at the time of enrollment to reserve a place for your child. The balance is paid on a monthly basis. 

Late Fees:
Late check fees are $25 per incident per month after the 5th.

Returned Check Fees are $50 per incident in addition to the late fee.

Late Child Pick Up fee:  We appreciate your cooperation in picking up your child on time. We have provided a 5-minute grace period for pick-up. There is a fee of $1 per minute. The late charges will be added to your next month fee.

NOTICES

Notice of Withdrawal or Change of Schedule
: We require two weeks notice if you are withdrawing your child from the program or changing your child's schedule. Failure to do so may mean you will pay additional fees. To notify us, please complete a Change of Schedule or Withdrawal form available from your program manager or from our Web site. Call the business office for information about how these changes will affect your fees.

Disclaimer: Please be aware that KindergartenLA, LLC is a private instructional service and is in no way affiliated with any scholastic board, or the YWCA. KindergartenLA operates on a first come first served basis. We will however make all efforts to keep a proper balance of kids who speak some or fluent German with those who are at their beginning stage. In order to enable the Immersion environment to operate, we must reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.   Thank You!
